From the book 'Oddfellow'

LIVING with ODDFELLOW
First page Chapter One:
Nobody had a Dad like mine.
Nobody.
He died in 1979.
He was 64 years old.
I was 23.
Official cause of death? War injuries!
34 years after the Second World War was over.
My Mum still gets a war widows pension.
From the time I knew what death was,I knew I could lose my Dad at any time.
I knew he was living on borrowed time.
My earliest memory of my Dad was of him throwing up.
You know, chundering.
First thing in the morning.
Every morning in those days.
Every single morning.
I must’ve been about three.
He used to stutter badly in those days, too.
This was 15 years after the Second World War.
I was only three, for Heaven’s sake.

PYRAMIDS, PROPHESY, and PATRIOTS
from Chapter Three:
........Unlike mainstream Egyptology, Pyramidology is the study of the Great Pyramid of Egypt as it pertains to Biblical scripture and divine prophesy. Oddfellow had always known his Bible back to front, and now he devoted his energies to interpreting prophetic prophesy, which was always his special area of interest. The old testament books of Daniel and Isaiah were his favourite.
Oddfellow believed that we were currently in the Biblical ‘days of grace’, leading up to, and culminating in, Armageddon, the war to end all wars. These ‘days of grace’, he believed, would culminate in the almost complete destruction of the human race, before Christ would return at the last minute and rule on Earth for a millennium, during which time Satan would be bound and chained. At the end of that thousand years, Satan would be released for a short time...... and I forget how the rest of the story goes, but it’s out there, you know.
Oddfellow had always believed that the second coming was nigh.
When I was younger I had asked him when it would happen. He had told me he thought it would be in my lifetime, but not his. He said this a few times. When I think of that now, I wonder just how long he considered he would live, or did he just consider that he didn’t have a lifetime, just a life? Just tomorrow, and after that just the next day, God willing?
Whatever, Oddfellow decided that his remaining tomorrows on this plane would better be served by promoting what he saw as proof of a divine plan for humanity. The Bible depicted in stone. The chronology of The Great Pyramid verified by holy scripture, and vice versa. The ancient geometry, the sacred cubit, the pyramid inch, closely related to the imperial inch.
The angles.The symbolism.The truth?
The whole nine yards, in fact. My Dad became the local know-it-all on pyramids. Not only that, but he also found in The Great Pyramid some answers to his search for the ten lost tribes of Israel, believing Britain and the U.S.A. to be respectively Ephraim and Mannasseh, two of the original ten northern tribes of Israel. The tribes we now acknowledge as Israel, he would acknowledge as consisting mainly of the southern two tribes of Judah and Benjamin.
Oddfellow joined the Institute of Pyramidology in London, after reading most of the books of its founder, and spent a few months lecturing there. In fact, once he flew to Egypt to rendezvous with a party from the Institute Of Pyramidology in London, visiting The Great Pyramid of Egypt.
Oddfellow was escorted into the Kings and Queens chambers, and into the Subterranean passage and chamber.
Isaac Newton allegedly visited the Great Pyramid and used data he obtained there to verify and confirm his calculations for the circumference of the earth.
The sides of The Great Pyramid are evidently concave, to the exact amount necessary if we wanted to sit the earth against it. In other words, you could take it and scribe a circle from its curvature and you would end up with a circle the size of Earth.
Facts such as these littered Oddfellow's lectures.
That the Great Pyramid is so placed, that it divides the total land area of the Earth exactly in half.
That the meridian north and south passing through its apex crosses the greatest amount of land, and the smallest amount of sea.
That the Great Pyramids nether or opposite meridian crosses the smallest amount of land and the greatest amount of sea.
That the altitude of the top of The Great Pyramid is such that the level of the platform at its summit defines the mean land and sea level on the surface of the globe.
In proof of this last fact, Oddfellow would cite the following scripture: Isaiah 40;12
“The Lord God hath measured the waters in the palm of his hand, and enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in a scale, and the hills in a balance.”
To the Pyramidologist, the entire structure is symbolic of the story of man upon the planet. He uses gradations of the ancient pyramid inch, or sacred inch, to reveal a time line deliberately encrypted within the very placement and dimensions of the various passageways and chambers, steps and ceilings. A time line which uncannily corresponds with major events in history to date, and points towards other critical events in our future, not least of which is the second coming of Christ, apparently.
Napoleon, too, visited the Pyramids, back in the 18th century, and even then one of his scholars recognised a relationship between the dimensions and proportions of The Great Pyramid, and the Earth.
